Painter 7 and PhotoShop CS. Took about three weeks to complete, working in my spare time - a few hours every night. I really liked Johnny Depp's performance in Pirates of the Carribean. Adventure and romance follows Sparrow everywhere he goes.
Reference pictures were used for Jack, the wench and the soldier.

I loved the film, but I'm not going to be biased because of that. Your painting is wonderful. The skin tones are excellent, although Depp's hand is a different colour to his face. I must comment on his hair- it looks yellow-green. Strange......and the gun, I think, is on the wrong angle. The handle of the gun is on a different angle to the barrel.
I presume you used reference of some sort....please write it in your description whether you have or not, to save some people here getting on your case about it. I've seen it happen before.....

You've captured greatly the face expression and the jesture.Interesting compo.This plant on the wall doesn't seem so natural.Anyway 10 by my side.
I like the atmosphere.
